Perhaps buoyed by the popularity of limited-edition colors like Snazzberry and Tuscerado over the past few years, Jeep is set to debut two new custom looks for the 2023 Wrangler lineup.

The brand on Wednesday announced it is adding Earl and Reign as alternative color options for prospective Jeep buyers.

Earl will be a shade of gray mixed with accents of aquamarine, Jeep said in a statement, and will replicate the skin appearance of the company’s Gladiator Farout concept vehicle which debuted during the 2019 Easter Jeep Safari.

Reign is a vivid purple last seen on the 2018 JK Wrangler edition, and will appeal to all customers passionate about purple, the brand said.

“We received a lot of positive feedback on Earl when it debuted on the Gladiator Farout concept, and we work to deliver what our customers tell us they want,” said Jeep’s North American Head of Brand and Senior Vice President Jim Morrison. “These limited-run colors like Earl and Reign draw a huge enthusiast following because they’re exciting, authentic and stand out, much like the Jeep community.”

While Jeep said Earl will be a production color addition for the entire 2023 model year, Reign is a limited-edition look and can only be ordered through October.

Both colors are available on the standard Jeep lineup of Sport, Sahara and Rubicon, as well as the popular 4xe and 392 as well. Earl will add $395 to the Jeep’s pricing, while Reign has a $495 tag.

These two new color offerings join Firecracker Red, High Velocity, Hydro Blue, Sarge Green, Silver Zynith, Sting Gray, Granite Crystal, Black and Bright White for the 2023 model year.
