Our Friday Five starts off each weekend with a look back at five of the week's more popular feature or news stories, products, videos, how-to instructionals, or whatever else is trending in the Jeep industry.

Then you come in.

We'll ask a question on each of the five items, and open it up for your responses. We hope you'll join along.

For many of you out there, the cold winter weather can do a number on your soft top windows if you are not careful. Many long-time Jeep owners know all about this and have developed tips and tricks to beat that cold and ice. But others new to the Jeep world may be experiencing their first Jeep winter and have questions. We took a look at ways to tackle winter window issues, but there are also many other things which can be difficult during the winter months. So what is a great cold weather trick you use to manage this time of year?

Things get beat up, scratched, and dented on a Jeep all the time. It is just the way it works - whether through trail riding, navigating your way around the city, hauling stuff, or just from everyday abuse. With the help of Kentrol, we addressed how to change over your distressed factory hood and door hinges. That is one great repair, but we all know there can be many others as well. So what is tops on your repair list?

-----

Sometimes even the best trail ride can quickly turn sour when you discover something isn't exactly as you thought. Our Wheeling Wednesday this week featured a Wrangler JK Rubicon Unlimited 'swimming' its way through mud and ice after deciding a side trip was a good idea. The JK eventually made its way out, and we're sure you did too, but what was it that unexpectedly got you stuck? How did you get out?

Modding is life. Well, maybe not to that extreme, but for many adding a special mod like bumpers is a great way to better (and safely) enjoy their vehicle. Hyline bumpers are built for these type of enthusiasts and the company's products are known for their durability, quality and performance. Maybe you already have your bumper though, and are looking in another direction. So what is number one on your mod list right now?

-----

One of our ongoing build up projects here is a 2016 JK Rubicon Unlimited that we've turned into an African Safari-themed rock crawler for night time off-road adventures. Yet, despite all those off-road tweaks, we've also worked hard to retain the vehicle's factory ride so it remains comfortable while daily driving. We currently have several build-up Jeep vehicles in the works, and maybe you are working on your own as well. What is your idea of a perfect Jeep build?
