The Adjustable MAP Sensor will eliminate surging and bucking when power-gaining modifications are made. Match your fuel curve to air flow changes, such as hi-flow throttle bodies, ported heads, headers and more. Requires spicing and hardwiring. Works like a program upgrade at a fraction of the cost. EFI or electronic fuel injection sensors are mounted on '91 & newer Wrangler engine operating systems. This information is measured with voltage and sent to the ECM (electronic control module). The ECM reads and calculates this information using program tables that are stored in the computer. The computer then modifies the engine's timing and fuel to provide a setting for optimum drivability for that given situation. Rock-It MAP & Crank Shaft Sensors will modify signals from the sensors, to improve the stock programming. These components allow for fine engine performance. The MAP sensor adjustor does not replace the OEM MAP sensor, but allows you to adjust the information from the sensor to the ECM.
