The dual ½-inch radiator core is hand welded in the U.S. to a slimmer Flex-a-fit side tank. The new Flex-a-fit side tank offers a narrower profile but still utilizes the patented T tank technology. The T channels offer a durable mounting system for the radiator, electric fan and optional oil cooler or expansion tank. The radiator core is protected while off roading because the electric fan and oil cooler are mounted to the Flex-a-fit sidetank and not through the radiator core.
The fully shrouded 15-inch electric fan moves 3,300 cfm and comes pre-mounted to the radiator from the factory. The fan draws 18 amps and includes a control module for adjustable temperature setting and air conditioning relay. A terminal on the controller is also included for a manual override switch.
