This comprehensive package has been designed for installers familiar with engine swaps and sets new standards for OE appearance and compatibility while also eliminating the headaches of missing or mismatched parts, so common with other "kits." AEV's JK V8 HEMI Builder Kit is compatible with either the 5.7 or 6.1 HEMI. A Premium Kit is also available.

When using a dropout power train, the 05-08 Jeep® Commander and Grand Cherokee is ideal. The 6.1 out of the Grand Cherokee will still need the transmission from the 5.7L. The kit is NOT set up for the Dodge Ram and Durango versions of the 5.7 with the different front accessory drive and intake location.
5.7L V8 exhaust manifolds and gaskets are required for proper installation of exhaust.
AEV’s Standard JK HEMI Kit includes nearly everything to install a HEMI V8 into a JK Wrangler. The Standard Kit is everything required except the exhaust system, ProCal, transmission cooler and spring spacers. The only parts omitted are parts that can be purchased from vendors or are easily fabricated. It is ideal for anyone who has plans for a custom exhaust, or has special requirements where some parts of the premium kit would not be used.
