In Quadratec’s 30-plus year history, we have gone from a small garage-type operation to an international leader in the Jeep aftermarket retail space.

Sure there were important decisions, strategies and plans along the way that helped make this happen. But the growth of our organization simply would not happen without the hard work and fearless passion of our employees.

Now entering our fourth decade, and facing a business climate unlike anything that’s been seen in a long time, we’ve never been more thankful to have team members at Quadratec who have the desire and dedication to successfully manage our growth, and themselves, in the highest possible fashion.

As we all celebrate the Labor Day holiday this year, we are proud to honor all our employees for a job well done. Additionally, we’ve selected three standouts across our family who have all demonstrated a high caliber work ethic, the ability to go above what is needed and serve as a beacon to others throughout the company.

Matthew Thomas – Contact Center

Jeeps have always been a part of my life and I actually learned how to drive with a Cherokee. So I was incredibly excited to start working at Quadratec and I’ve been here in the contact center now for three years working with customers every day.

One of the main things I love about Quadratec is the team I get to work with. No one can possibly know everything, so it is amazing to be around so many people who have your back and will help answer any question that comes up.

That is especially true these days as we all are adjusting to working independently from home and not having co-workers just a chair roll away. Even though they are not physically right there, we still have great communication and are able to quickly answer issues while staying safe and observing health guidelines.

These days I have a 1996 XJ Cherokee that I love driving and playing around with. And I’m looking forward to spending many more years with Quadratec.

Justin Hager – Customer Pickup

I started at Quadratec in September 2017 in our amazing contact center so this month will be my four-year anniversary. In that time, I’ve been a contact center representative, worked on numerous Jeep forums and have manned our customer pick up counter for the past two years.

This September, I will be starting a new chapter here at Quadratec as part of our Content Management team — creating product pages and descriptions for all kinds of essential Jeep items.

I am very excited and grateful for the opportunity to work in this new position, and it is a testament to the flexibility here at Quadratec that allows employees to go after available jobs they feel are suited to their strengths.

I currently own a 2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ that is my pride and joy, and its main use is a daily driver/mountain excursion vehicle. I love taking it to our cabin in Clinton County, Pennsylvania and using it for overlanding.

As we all know, this past year has been very difficult for most people. As someone who worked our pickup counter for several years, it was tough not to see friendly faces while our front counter was closed. However, we worked hard to create and implement a traffic pattern at the counter that limited contact, so when we were allowed to re-open the counter it was a great success.

I am very grateful for my position here at Quad and look forward to my future with the company.

Eric Ammerman – Video Production

I’ve been with Quadratec now just over 10 years — first starting in the call center for a year and then moving into the video department as the video production manager. I live in the West Chester, Pennsylvania area with my fiancé Cory, our 3 kids, and dog Parker.

My favorite part of owning a Jeep and working for Quadratec in the Jeep industry is all the amazing adventures it has taken me and my family on. While the Jeep itself is sometimes the adventure, more often than not, my 2016 Hydro Blue Wrangler Unlimited (which is called Overkill) has been the thing that has gotten me to the adventure. Whether it’s a hike, trail cleanup, or a whitewater trip, the Jeep takes me there.

It also gives me a chance to give back to the outdoors, and our work with Tread Lightly! cleaning up trails, installing signs and fixing fencing on trails all across the country, has been really rewarding. It gives me a chance to show my kids and other off-road enthusiasts what it means to be a steward of the outdoors and responsible recreation.

Some of the hardships my department has faced over the last year are the cancelations of some of the great events we normally attend where we connect to the Jeep community, and give back to the trails.

Working remotely has made some of the personal connections with my co-workers tough, and I look forward to the time when this pandemic is behind us, and we can all be together in the same place.
