I purchase this 1977 CJ 5 on a business trip to AZ. Originally sold at a Phoenix dealer, I was excited to find a CJ 5 Renegade survivor. The previous owner added after market seats since the original Levi seats were ruined, an aluminum front bumper with trailer mounts. This Jeep has the original 304 V8 with all OEM replacement engine parts. The body has not been painted and has the original suspension, differentials, and 3 speed transmission. My co workers pronounce the CJ 5 a “real man’s” Jeep since it has manual steering, manual brakes and a V8 engine coupled to a std transmission. I added a tire mount to relieve the pressure off the body from the TrXus MT 31 – 10.5 tires. Although no where near mint, this CJ 5 congers up respect from true Jeep aficionados.
