I bought the jeep over three years ago from a guy who let it sit in a garage in Lake Tahoe for six years, brought the jeep home cleaned it up and tried to do some wheelin the next weekend. It would not climb due to carb issues, so the story begins I pulled the motor out 258 six. sent it to the machine shop had it bored 30 over and balanced, bought a rebuilt 4.0 HO head, mopar MPI,center force clutch, dual electric fans, high energy mounts and bushings, fat rodder header, high flow exhaust, disc brakes for the rear, twin sticked the T case, did 1" body lift, and 3"spring lift, I am running 4:10 gears with solids in the rear and alloys in the front with superwinch locking hubs, both have ARB Air Lockers the jeep has a six point roll bar,Ramsey 9,500 winch, am running 33x12.50x15 goodyear MT'S. I have a safari rack for the back. Inside it has been rhino lined got 2 new bestop reclining buckets, hurst shifter, blazer blower motor on the heater got a pioneer stero and a couple of cb's, just did a dual battery set up with a manager, all this work has been worth it the jeep really performs well. It is easy to drive on the black top and can run at 70 plus and then some all day long and it will climb like a goat, I purchased 26 of the rebuild items fom you guys and I apperciate you still carrying cj parts
