Build Details
May 06, 2009

This is my 86 Jeep CJ-7. I started the Complete Frame Off Restore July 2007, I started Driving it a year later. I Built it around a Buick supercharged 3.8 liter V6, from a 2005 Monte Carlo SS. It is coupled to a Four Speed, 700R4 Automatic with Lockup converter and the original, Dana 300 transfer case. I had the axles rebuilt with 3.73 gearing and ARB Lockers front and rear. The Front is Dana 30 with Warn axles and hubs and the Rear is Dana 44. The Suspension is a Procomp 2.5 inch lift, MX-6 Shocks and the M.O.R.E. Reverse Shackle kit. Including the shackles and tires, it now sits about 4" higher. I had the frame and anything I could, powder coated and the inside and underneath the body sprayed with LineX bed liner. All of the Hinges , Latches, and Mirrors are Kentrol SS Powder Coated. I used Bestop Seats and the Bestop Supertop. I used a YJ roll bar which will be painted when i finish the cage, YJ Doors, and also a YJ Steering Column. The Fender Flares are Warn Brand. The Tuffy Glove Box Looks Good on the Custom Stainless Dash. The tires are BFG All Terrain TA 33, 12.5, 15. It has cold AC, and Also Cruise Control. It is Now my Only Vehicle, It is a Dream to Drive, It turned out as Well as I had Planned it. So She is a Keeper. Thanks Quadratec, You were a Big Help in This Project.
