Good Day. I bought this Jeep back in 1994 with 8,000 miles on it. It served as my main ride until 'Aug 2005 when I puchased my 2005 F-150 truck. The Jeep looked it's age w/ 109,000 miles. The body was rusted in, around and underneath. The chrome tubing was so bad that it whistled as the wind passed through all the rusted out holes. I left it in the garage for a few months, not knowing what to do with it, until one day I came across the Quadratec web site: it was time to bring her back to life.

First, from Quadratec, was the 2' body lift with Dick Cepek DC-1 rims and Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTX 31X10.5' R15 tires. Then came body work (lots of it); ripped out all the carpets and bed liner sprayed the interior black, ripped out and replaced the original dash, applied complete under body sealant, complete repaint (original color) and then added more Quadratec parts: Front & rear stainless tubing w/ hitch, stainless sidesteps, VDP deluxe ultimate console, Mopar chrome grill, Rampage bead lock tail light bezels, black neoprene seat covers, new factory style 6pc fender flares, door well guard and various hinges & accessories. I did all that in '06. So far, the mechanical is still stock/original (only changed out the rad) - those 4.0 inline 6's run like stink. Looking forward to taking her out next summer with my wife and newborn son - Nov 20 2007.

Thanks,
John
