Here is my ZJ. it's a 98 Grand Cherokee that I converted from a 2wd Laredo SE to 4wd back in 2002. It has since logged trips to Attica, Indianna at the Badlands... Moan Utah twice and everywhere in between.

  • 1998 Grand Cherokee Laredo 'Special Edition' converted to 4wd
  • 1998 4.0 inline 6 with home-bored throttle body and '03 Powertech intake
  • Imco Race muffler
  • Safari Snorkel #720SS for a Nissan Exterra.. with a Pig-Custom ammo can airbox.
  • Teraflex D30 High Steering Kit
  • 1994 ZJ D30, 4.56 with Aussie Locker
  • 1998 ZJ 42RE tranny from a wrecked ZJ (originally fitted with a NV242)
  • 2000 TJ NP231 T-case. Stock. 2.72:1 ratio
  • '94 ZJ front drive shaft - double cardan type
  • Double Cardan (CV) rear driveshaft from Arizona Driveline
  • Original '98 D35c rear axle, OEM '93 TracLoc unit, 4.56 geared, factory disk brakes
  • SUSPENSION:
    FRONT: 5.5" lift consisting of 3.5" Teraflex coils/Anthony's 2' b-b, Rubicon Express Longarms, Skyjacker ADJ Front Track bar (for TJ), Teraflex (?!?) TJ quick discos up front.REAR Up Country I6 front coils in back w/ Anthony's 1.75' b-b, Currie ADJ Trackbar, Longer swaybar end links, Doesch Tech DT3000 shocks at all 4 corners.

  • Clayton's Hard Rockers, rocker skids. (effective)
  • OEM style t-case and gas tank skids
  • ARB Bull Bar, w' Hella 500 lights

  • 2pr of 4' driving lights on the rack- 1pr front, 1pr rear
  • VIAIR 450c aircompressor with Campbell/Hausfeild 2gal tank from crapped out compressor. VIAIR install kit w/ remote gauge, switch, pressure switch, etc...
  • FT 100 Ham radio (w/ antenna farm)
  • Midland CB
  • Kenwood/Sony/Eclipse audio
  • Federal Signal siren system, 2 dual LED lights in the upper corners of the windshield, one out back... (for fire response)
  • Auxillary gauges-Faze tranny temp, Mixture and Fuel Pressure gauges
  • One Sponge Bob air Freshener. That added 6 horse power! REALLY!
