Reviews for Superchips 3874 Flashpaq F5 Programmer for 98-14 Jeep Vehicles
Product delivered quickly and performed as advertised. The tunes are great. Unfortunately, it did mess up my ecu when I attempted to return to stock tuning prior to a dealership visit. I am currently waiting on delivery of a new ecu. The situation sucks because I really liked the performance of the product until it immobilized my jeep and cost me a new ecu
I bought this when I bought a set of 4:56 gears for my 06 jeep rubicon. While the description says you can adjust for aftermarket tires and gears, you cannot. This tuner ONLY allows for tire size changes. The tuner part of it only offers minimal options, and the option I had chosen was unnoticeable. I called the manufacturer and they told me that even their website is misleading for the tj. This tuner is not very useful for anything older than 07. I verified this with manufacturer! Good product though... just not worth the price to calibrate speedo ONLY.
Waste of money! I've had mine since late August 2019 and have tried all of the available tunes. NONE do what the manufacturer claims it will do. I have an 07 JK X auto, 2.5" lift, 35" tires, and 4.10 gears. I was getting between 16-17 mpg before I purchased this product. The first tune I thought I'd try was the economy tune. I ran three tanks of gas and got exactly 14.75 mpg through all three tanks. Next tried out all of the performance tunes (93, 91, and 87 octane), starting with the 93 octane tune. In stock configuration I would get an 11 second 0-60 time. I was both not surprised, yet equally disappointed, that the 0-60 times were the same with all 3 tunes. Coincidentally, my mpg continued to stay in the 14.75 mpg range while running all 3 performance tunes. I would rate this zero stars if I could but Quadratec won't allow me to put the rating that low.
