Reviews for Flowkooler 1750 FLOWKOOLER Water Pump for 00-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ with 4.0L I-6 Engine
The water pump fit and worked, except I could never get it to stop leaking as there were many Areas on the water machined surface of the pump that were not machined correctly leaving devote where there should be smooth mating surfaces, poor quality control!!!!!
Maybe it's just me. My first Flowkooler water pump began to leak at 1462 miles, Installed a replacement and now it too is leaking with 2435 miles on it. Not happy with the quality of the product.
Flowkooler was installed after the original water pump started leaking... 1000 miles or so later it started to leak out of the weep hole like a faucet
Two pumps, two year warranty: two FAILS. First time it failed (leaking) while under warranty; this time it slid 7 months past the 2 year warranty before it commenced spritzing antifreeze all over my engine compartment (at 4 a.m., ready to haul a load of firewood home in 15 degree weather). Yes, it looks beautiful, but yes, they fail with startling regularity. As an Arizonan, I worked hard to upgrade my cooling system--yet the Samco hoses, Mishimoto Radiator, and Flowkooler all failed well before similar OEM products did. I give up. Sure as heck going stock on the replacement here....
