Reviews for Quadratec Ultimate All Weather Rear Cargo Liner for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
With the top and doors off the wind gets underneath the front and blows it up, freaks my dog out (she usually sits towards the rear of the compartment) and when dog isn't in there I have to take it out or place somethimg big a heavy on it because it has almost blown away on me a few times! I have folded it in half and held onto the front of it to keep it from blowing away, I never lost it unfortunately, what a freaking headache! '10 JK with rear seat removed.
This review is for usage in a 2 door JK, using the rear seats. I liked the concept of having one cargo mat that would cover the whole back of the Jeep whether rear seats are in or not. After cutting out the small the rectangle I was able to put back the rear seats, but the rear hooks never engaged, and the seat never locked in place. I would give 5 stars if I never used the rears seats, or if I had an unlimited. Since then I bought the "behind the seat" cargo liner and am very happy with it.
Could not lock in my back seat.
Front and rear floor mats fit nicely. Still struggling to get the rear seats to stay attached with the rear cargo liner. Anyone one have ideas? Cut the mat shorter?
I installed without the rear seat on my 2dr JK. Fit is not good. Rear of mat sticks up in the air. Doesn't lay flat. Seat latch cutouts do not align with seat latches. When I move mat to fit the sides, alignment is off everywhere else. Mat slides around cargo area because there are no "spikes" on the bottom to hold it in place like the front and rear floor mats. I haven't tried to install the rear seat yet. From other reviews, I am not looking forward to that. Material quality is good, otherwise this would be a 1 star rating. I wanted all the mats in the Jeep to match. Too bad the cargo mat is not of the same quality as the front and rear mats. I regret this purchase.
Does not allow back seat to properly lock into place.
I liked the tire tread design as it would match my floor mats. BUT the material is very light weight and will fly out of your Jeep. Secondly, I decided to put my back seat in, cut out the holes according the instructions. The seat will not engage properly with it in place.
Does not fit. Should have listened to other reviewers. Back seat in 2DR Wrangler will not latch with this installed. And its flimsy, cheap product.
Dont buy the cargo mat, fitment is complete garbage. I was really considering ordering just the fronts but I did not want to order from a seperate company. Wish I did!
I wish I didn't buy this product, and normally I love Quadratech things.
Pros:
1: The liner looks good, and I am able to put the rear seat in without any issue. Other reviews have stated that they have issue attaching the rear seat in a 2 door, and I don't really have the same experience. You do have to fold the seat up then lower it on to the rear latch, but with a small amount of force it latches fine.
Cons:
1: It is extremely thin, I imagine this is because it needs to be thin enough for a rear seat to latch, but it's thin to the point where I'm worried I may puncture it easily.
2: It also slides around VERY badly. I had my dog in the back and the whole liner slides even with him walking on it while the Jeep is parked (it really needs some teeth in the bottom to grab the carpet - like what the rear seat floor mats have).
3: It's light enough that with the rear seat out and top/doors off I'm worried it's going to blow out of the back. I have not tested this, but that's how thin/light it is.
4: I understand they need a big mold, and manufacturing something like this probably is not cheap, but based on the material (and overall how poorly it stays in place) I feel it is extremely over priced. If it was half the price I would think about it, but probably not get it still.
5: have I mentioned how badly it slides around? If I have the rear seat out and put anything in the back, when I hit the breaks it slides into the back of the seats.
