does the body of the bag attach to anything or does it just lays flat on the bed?

I’ve seen the Rugged Ridge brand and it looks exactly the same except it’s advertised to fit a JL. Will this fit or is it smaller?
It is the same product. We had the manufacturer listed as the primary company Omix rather than the Rugged Ridge aftermarket division, this has been changed. The fitment is the same and should fit in all Wrangler models

Yes, they are removeable and secure to the bag with snaps.
