Reviews for Poison Spyder Bombshell Differential Cover for Dana 44 Axle Assemblies
Great piece of equipment. Much thicker and stronger than OEM and looks cool without being too blingy. I installed both front and rear with Lubelocker gaskets. The install was a breeze, but it took me a while to remove the the gasket gunk that is used by the factory. Great product and I highly recommend!!!
Heavy duty unit that fit perfectly, I have dragged and smashed them offroad with no issues or lose of fluid. You don't need a replacement cover with a drain hole on a JK Wrangler as the axle has a drain hole from the factory on the differential. Finish is holding up well.
These diff covers live up to their name! I use lube locker gaskets and stainless steel Allen heads. Painted them to sort of match Jeep.
I'd peeled back my stock cover on a rock and developed a slight leak, so thought I'd try a heavy duty cover as a replacement. I bought the bare cast iron cover and painted it silver with a black spider...looks great! Also, installed using a Lubelocker, and no leaks! I highly recommend this cover.
Beefy with no clearance issues. Installed with Lubelocker gasket for easy differential oil changes.
Nice high quality cover. Have one on front and rear of 16 JK Rubicon. Front made contact with Falcon steering stabilizer and required adjusting stabilizer. Both front and rear required fines and parking on a include to get the right amount of spec fluid installed. Used with Lube locker - no leaks.
Pretty simple install have banged these up quite a bit already with no sign of cracking or folding and they look great once painted and scratched.
I've had these on my Jeep for over a year now. They were very easy to place after painting the spider to match the color of my Jeep. These are some hefty covers!
Bulletproof!
Definitely a Heavy Duty cover and couldn't be happier!
Painted my "Spyder" Gecko Green w/ powered coated Black background...looks awesome!
Thanks Poison Spyder, Jeep Jimmy
