Reviews for Kicker 5.25" Deluxe Dash Speaker Upgrade Kit for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
First of all these sound great. That said, cutting the bracket so that these will fit is a pain, but definitely worth it. The only negative about these speakers is that the driver side only barely fits after cutting the bracket out due to the headlight switch/knob being in the way in my 97 TJ.
10 minute install and worth the price if you want better sound. Can handle way more power than the factory speakers.
Easily installed in my 2003 TJ. Plug and play which is what I was looking for. Sound quality is good but Wrangler acoustics and radio design are never stellar. Currently driving with stock head unit. I imagine they would perform even better with an updated radio. Definitely worth your time.
I've had them for just about 2 years and they're seem to have "blown" out about 6 months ago. However they still sound great and are much much better than stock but I theres always that annoying rattle when I turn it up. I don't listen to music extremely loud just enough to feel it. Wish they would've lasted longer but they are many times better than stock!
The instal was a a breeze for these.
100% recommend, just don't turn the volume up to much if you want them to last.
Hard to rate as I have recently installed them and don't note a significant difference from the stock speakers. Thought I would have more bass. Could be the stock radio. Replacing the radio next. Install was SUPER easy (2006 TJ)!
