Mopar 10th Anniversary Rubicon Hood with Functional Vents Reviews
Major improvement, looks great (hail damage silver-lining-insurance helped with the upgrade). Body shop had to make a few adjustments for proper alignment with fenders, before new paint. Gets lots of compliments.
Looks great on my Jeep! I tried with an ebay knock-off at half the price and it was junk. Decided you get what you pay for and ordered the Mopar one and everything looks and fit perfectly. I recommend just spending the money and get the OEM hood. You will not have any fitament issues like I did with the ebay model.
Purchased this hood kit as the last part to finish off my build. I think of all the mods I have done, this is by far my favorite. The hood gives a great aggressive look from the driver's seat without looking over the top.
Questions

Here's how you can generally achieve this:
The most common method involves replacing the original single-nozzle system with components from a dual-nozzle system. This typically includes:
Dual Nozzle Set: You'll need to purchase a set of windshield washer nozzles designed for the Jeep Wrangler hood (usually from 2007 onwards). These are readily available from Mopar and aftermarket suppliers.
T-Fitting or Splitter: Your existing single washer fluid line will need to be split to feed both new nozzles. A simple plastic T-fitting or a Y-fitting can accomplish this. Ensure the fitting is the correct size for the washer fluid hose.
Additional Washer Fluid Hose: You'll likely need a short length of additional washer fluid hose to run from the T-fitting to the second nozzle.
Potentially a New Check Valve: Some dual-nozzle systems have a check valve near the nozzles to prevent fluid from draining back into the reservoir. While not always strictly necessary, it can improve the responsiveness of the spray.
Steps for the Conversion:
Locate the original washer fluid line: Find the hose that runs from your washer fluid pump to the original nozzle.
Disconnect the original nozzle: Carefully detach the hose from the old nozzle.
Install the T-fitting: Cut the existing hose and insert the T-fitting, securing it with any necessary clamps or friction.
Run new hoses to the hood nozzles: Connect one outlet of the T-fitting to one of the new hood nozzles. Run the additional length of hose from the other outlet of the T-fitting to the second hood nozzle. Secure the hoses to the nozzles.
Mount the new hood nozzles: Install the new dual nozzles into the designated holes on your Jeep's hood.
Test the system: Fill your washer fluid reservoir and test the spray to ensure both nozzles are working correctly. You might need to adjust the aim of the nozzles.
Considerations:
Washer Pump Capacity: While generally not an issue for a dual-nozzle setup, ensure your existing washer pump has enough pressure to adequately supply both nozzles.
Hose Routing: Plan the routing of the new hoses carefully to avoid any pinching or interference with moving parts.
Check Valve Placement: If you choose to install a check valve, place it close to the nozzles.
Model Year Differences: The exact mounting and hose connections might vary slightly depending on the specific year and model of your Jeep Wrangler.
