Had to replace the engine pipe with a compatible six cylinder pipe since the four cylinder pipe was at a different angle . To cut , re-weld and bend was triple work and without a pipe bender , more difficult .

This was a direct fit for my 1981 CJ7 4.2L, straight 6, 258hp. It did have an "O2 port?" that I pinched off in a vice and folded over, but otherwise a good fit. I couldn't find anything else that matched my vehicle.

What size diameter is this pipe? Inside and outside diameter would be helpful. Also what does the end flare out to diameter wise? And do I need a crash gasket for the part that mates up with the exhaust manifold
Same diameter as stock. The flared end is designed to snugly fit over your factory exhaust pipe.
