Reviews for TACTIK 12011.0102 Cast Aluminum Differential Cover for Dana 44 Axle Assemblies
Great cover well made love the dip stick and great build quality
Acquired one for Dana 44. Perfect alignment of the holes, good srews, inmaculate fit and finish. Now will easy for oil change, I need to buy another one for the front differential
great diff cover
Easy to install, changing fluid is a breeze and they look cool too!
Great
good fit and function also used the lubelocker gasket
Just installed the cover on my 91 Jeep YJ and couldn't be happier, it fits great and looks good. I've seen others just like these with other names on them and for a lot more money, these covers (I bought the Dana 30 one for my front) are hefty and seem heavy duty and of good quality. I really like that they have drain holes and dip sticks. I would recommend them.
Love the look and love the idea of a dipstick. Install couldn't have went smoother and looks great. No worries in buying these!
Cover is good quality and good fit. I did not have a problem with bolts breaking so perhaps they are now shipping better quality bolts. Bolts torqued to 30 ft lbs. I used a Q-Tip to measure oil level while filling as someone else suggested. Great idea! You don't have to screw in/out the dip-bolt a bunch of times that way. If you use RTV be sure to only tighten bolts hand tight and let RTV set for 24 hours, then torque to 30 ft lbs.
Look great! Takes 24hours if you read the rtv set up time then add oil. A trick for checking oil level cut a qutip to lenght of the dipstick for quick checking oil level. Buy a oil pump and hose barb to fit in the little fill hole. I bought grade 8 bolts out of the gate after reading other reviews. Hope this helps so one. P.s. 30ft lbs on bolts
